We recommend satin nickel finish over polished brass or matte black for coastal properties because it resists salt air corrosion better.
One note on touchscreen keypads (like Yale Assure): direct afternoon sun on a south-facing door can make the touchscreen hard to read and hot to touch. Physical button keypads (Schlage, Kwikset) don't have this problem. If your front door gets heavy sun, go with physical buttons.
